It feels great to help others and it brings our communities together too. That’s why we’d love to invite you to come along and try volunteering for yourself.
The Big Help Out is happening on Bank Holiday Monday 8 May. It’s a national day of volunteering to inspire the next generation of volunteers.
Bear Grylls is helping lead The Big Help Out, but you don’t need to be Bear to join Scouts. You don’t even need to be a Scout when you were younger – you just need a little time, a bit of enthusiasm and want to help give young people a brighter future.
Scouts helps giving people speak up, step up and gain skills for life. If you don’t fancy leading activities, we’ve got plenty of behind the scenes roles too. There’s a place for everyone.
Here at Merseyside Scouts invite you to join us to try volunteering for yourself as part of The Big Help Out!
Week by week, our volunteers empower thousands of young people to try new things, make new friends and stand on their own two feet.
You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to join us. You don’t need to have been a Scout when you were younger. You don’t even need to know how to put up a tent.
What ever your skill set, lend hand for as little or as much time as you can spare, and we promise you’ll get more out than you put in.
We provide the training. You show up, get suck in, and make new memories.
