Announcing the next District Commissioner for Liverpool South

We are delighted to announce that, following our search and appointment process, Elliott Creed has been appointed as the next District Commissioner for Liverpool South. Elliott will take up the post formally on 1st February, but will begin to work alongside Brenda Hope, who we look forward to thanking properly, for the significant contribution Brenda has made over the last 10 years.

On accepting the appointment, Elliott commented:

I'm really proud to have been appointed to represent and lead Liverpool South District moving forward. I have been a part of scouting in South Liverpool for the last sixteen years, moving through the youth sections before taking on a leadership role and so I have a keen interest in the District's success.

That said, I don't underestimate the challenge moving forward. Brenda and I will be working together to allow for a smooth handover and I can only hope that we achieve some of the successes that she has over the last ten years. I will be looking to meet with different groups over the coming months to understand what you want to see from our district and I hope to continue this when established in the role.

We would like to thank everyone who engaged in the process and to those who expressed an interest in the role; and we look forward to working with Elliott as he settles in to his new role.

Welcome, Elliott, and thanks for taking on this responsibility. If you would like to drop Elliott a line, we're sure he'd welcome hearing from you.
