Merseyside Scouts take part in the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra.

Three members of Merseyside Scouts attended the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra (NSGSO) last week and spent a lot of their time rehearsing with Scouts and Guides from across the country, for up to 8 hours a day!

It wasn't all rehearsals though; they also had the chance to participate in climbing, archery, kayaking, orienteering and team building exercises in their free time, as well as a mass water fight which took place on the wettest afternoon of the whole week.

The focus of the week was preparation for three concerts in Bramall Hall which is part of the University of Birmingham and a concert at Severn Valley Light Railway.

Our congratulations to David, Charlie and Jonathan for their contribution as part of a group of 127 members who were supported by 12 volunteer staff; including Wallasey's Mike Noyce. Well done and thank you, all.
