Week One TY2TT: Skills activities for Beavers and Cubs

Your body and mind are the most precious instruments you'll ever own. Get the cogs whirring and move your feet! It's time to develop some new skills.

This week we are working towards our top award with the focus of Skill.

Main Activity 

 Choose 1, this can be done across all sections tailored to suit the age range

 Ready, Steady, Bake! Bake a cake, cupcakes or biscuits

 Feed the birds! Make a bird feeder, identify, photograph 5 different types of   birds  More Information 

 Sling Shot! Make a catapult, or trebuchet and video you used it

Have Family Fun - play a new game with your family 

All tied up - learn to tie your shoelaces 

Cookies with character - Decorate your own happy cookie characters. More information

Team tidy - test teamwork with this tidying up game that makes clearing up an activity - all on its own. More information

Bed making relay - Don't get tangled in. More information

All sewn up - sew on a button or badge

Time for Tea! make a cup of tea or coffee, then wash up afterward

Squeaky clean - Make two objects sparkle with this cleaning challenge. More information 

Suppertime superhero - Show you can plan, cook, and serve a one-course meal, and wash up afterward.  More information 

Team tidy - Test teamwork with this tidying up game that makes clearing up an activity – all on its own. More information  

Put it to bed - Make your bed.  More information
