Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June 2020,
at Tawd Vale

Please note: this event has been cancelled due to Coronavirus / Covid-19; click here for more information.

Wingding is a large event for Beaver Scouts and Cub Scouts from across Merseyside. It takes place every two years at Tawd Vale Campsite.

We'll be providing another exciting weekend of adventure centred around the following activity zones: Adventure, Creative, Fun, Water, Bush craft, Global and Arena events; with a wide range of activities including:

  • Canoeing, Climbing, Circus Skills, Crafts, Inflatables, Aerial Runway, Scouting Skills, caving and much much more.
  • Then if you have enough energy left then join us for the evening entertainment.

The weekend costs:

  • £42.50 Cub full weekend
  • £10 Cub Leaders
  • £20 Beaver day Visitor
  • £5 Beaver Leader day Visitor

There has been a small increase in the price this year, due to increases in activity costs.  We have been able to keep the price at the same level for Wingding over the last four years, but to keep this event running with the high standard, the increase is essential.

Bookings will open on Friday 7th February 2020 at 7pm.  Please register the number of places you require for Young People and Adults, either full weekend or Saturday Day visit (Beavers only).
Remember to be quick to book on as the event sold out in 16 hours in 2018!!!

Registrations should be made by individual Groups. Please note registration will end on the 31st March 2020

Once registered you will be contacted to pay your deposits of £20 per Cub, £10 for Adults camping, £10 per Beaver day visitor and £5 for Adult day visitors by 6th March 2020, this will secure your booking.  Any places not confirmed by a deposit will be released to any members on the waiting list.
