Role Purpose:
To work as part of a team to help keep the Young People within Merseyside at the heart of
everything we do.

· County Leadership Team and Sub-Team Leaders
· District Leadership Teams
Key Tasks:
· Work with District Youth Leads, County Youth Leads, and other members of local leadership teams to drive the importance of Youth Shaped Scouting to all members.
· Meet regularly (approx. once every 6 weeks, either online or virtually) and share ideas for new ways to promote the principles of Youth Shaped Scouting
· Attend County Events and talk to the young people within Merseyside about Youth Shaped Scouting – whether that be if they know about it, or what they would like to see in the future
More Information
· Members must be 18-25 at the time of their appointment.
· This is a voluntary role, however reasonable expenses in line with the County’s Expenses Policy will be paid.
· Members of the team will be added to an Active Support Unit, and will be expected to keep up with their mandatory training (Safety, Safeguarding, and First Aid)
· Members must be/become a member of The Scout Association, and must have a valid DBS
for the duration of their appointment.
